Why did you write the book?

I believe that the American people are not being told the truth about the war on terror and the threats this country faces every day.  I confirmed my fears with research, which led me to write this book.  I believe it is imperative to educate my fellow citizens about what they are not being told by the mainstream press or our government.

What is the book about?

The book presents little known facts that, once viewed as a composite whole, reveal the true threats facing the people of the United States.  I also construct a possible future of the United States based on current conditions.

Why are you qualified to write this book?

I am extremely active in local politics, but I am still an average citizen who, after much research, has as much to lose as anyone else.  I have a deep concern and personal investment in the well-being of our military forces, as my father was a distinguished World War II veteran, and my son is currently enrolled at the United States Naval Academy.

What are some of the threats that America faces?

A terrorist attack on United States soil is imminent.  The world is being reshuffled at a rapid rate, and the future of continents like Europe hang in the balance. Judeo-Christianity, the religion of a vast majority of Americans, is in great danger of being wiped out by Islamic fundamentalism.

Is the book timely in a political context?

This book is so timely that I was forced to revise it almost constantly to update for new world events which reinforced conclusions I had already made. The tragedy at Virginia Tech. demonstrates just how unprepared we are to oppose Islamic Jihad. What if the attack had been perpetrated by a
well-organized terrorist cell?

Does your book promote an anti-Islamic sentiment?

Not at all.  I don’t oppose the religion of Islam, but I maintain that tolerance is a two-way street.  Muslims who immigrate to this country must respect our differences, and those who seek peace and call for the reformation of radical Islam will appreciate this book.

Who will benefit the most from your book?

Wake Up America! is for the average American who is busy raising a family, making a living, and paying the bills and is currently unaware that his/her way of life is under attack.

How is the book relevant to our lives today?

That is like asking how the rise of Nazism in the 1930’s in Germany was relevant to the lives of free people around the world at that time. The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.  I hope that this book inspires people to demand more from our media and our government.

What is the most dramatic scene in the book?

In the last chapter of the book, I illustrate the destruction of the United States as it may occur if radical Islamic militants achieve their terrorist goals.

What are the top three things readers will learn by reading this book?

 Europe, as we know it, will disappear in 12 years;  according to some Islamic scholars, many leaders promote a worldwide conflict in order to usher in the coming of the Islamic “Messiah;” and, the Iraq war is a mere sideshow compared to the overall war on terror.
